Ward makes most of his plays from the pocket. He just moves around within the pocket. He also broke Bernie Kosar's record at Miami. He won the Davey O'Brien Award as the best college quarterback. If Ward is on the board, I would not think twice about taking him. The problem with letting this regime pick the quarterback is that they will be gone after 2025. Jimmy Haslam needs to hire an outside consultant to help him evaluate the quarterbacks in this draft, or we might end up with another DTR or Bailey Zappe in the 4th or 5th round instead of picking a really talented quarterback at the top of the draft.
