dude was at his peak during this period. not just career wise but also how he looked. he was hot af in that age while he had more pounds on him but still within normal weight range. he was fairly thin in his earlier years, then this, and now thin again. im speculating during this period he was drinking heavily after the loss of his wife so he put on some extra weight. im freaking obsessed with this guy in his 50s and early 60s. he looked hot af with that chubby face and body. must feel good to hug, like a teddy bear
