You're to be treated like a criminal because your car looks fast or sounds fast. Especially in karen counties where 90% of their revenue is traffic tickets. I'm not talking about fart cannon mods or revving loud enough to rattle windows, just driving stock. I'm sure other people have been pulled over and gotten the "we recieved reports of a vehicle matching your desciption speeding" or "I could hear you speeding from the county line" just because of your car

Craig my freshman year high school a senior ended up getting killed just days before he would’ve graduated because his friend that was being the designated driver decided to blow through a stop sign racing and because of this reckless action, the car got T-bones on the passenger side and he ended up getting killed the guy racing didn’t get a scratch on him and not only in the physical sense of not sustaining any injuries, but didn’t get any punishment whatsoever. This was in 1997. My freshman year was pretty intense around the same time. I had my other friend the same grade as me another freshman that ended up getting shot in the face with a loaded magnum revolver by kid we went to school with. Nothing provoked it they didn’t get an argument. The guy was just crazy and he barely got a slap on the wrist, so it’s time that these kids it’s firing weapons into the air or out of a car and these exhibition with their cars has finally got to come to an end. I think it’s a tragedy that so many people had to die before Ryan and after for this to finally happen.

What really irritates me is that these people could be contributing to a healthy amateur racing scene, but instead just... don't. I race a sport compact up here in Canada and some nights am bummed out because there were a total of 4 cars on the grid. We have a fantastic facility (RAD Torque Raceway) that has previously hosted World of Outlaws events yet the low car count makes it impossible to find sponsors or bring out friends/family. When I post pics on social media I have to selectively find photos that don't show empty stands or how few cars there were on the grid. Yet on the highway/ring road home I've seen more modded sport compacts either stunting or pulled over by the cops, than were on the grid with us earlier that evening. All that money blown on building a hot rod and racking up fines or charges while our amateur scene suffers. It's pathetic.
