Not a problem Alex! Ok interesting yours doesn't judder. To be honest I'm going to give up using it and just stick with the fast setting. At least that works! 😆 😉

This marks on the armature look like balancing marks

I have the same problem on my spider and i have the car original from 1988. Maybe it's the spring that holds the wiper against the glass? To strong?

It has to be something like that. The arms aren't bent and the linkage doesn't looked like its been twisted or messed with. It does feel like something is making it drag. Maybe a smaller spring might reduce the tension.

I think it doesn't rain in Italy so they didn't worry much about how they worked ;P

Nothing to do with Italy, the wiper motor is Bosch from Germany.
