I live in Sonoma County, and there is literally vineyards everywhere. There's even one next to my high school, along with an apple orchard. All the farmer's markets, and apple festivals (they sell everything apple from pies to lotions to ciders), and the people causally walking their dogs,on horseback, down the street.
