In this episode I head to Catalina Island here in Southern California with my friend Max in his 18ft Boston Whaler. On the trip we met up with two groups of dolphins and I had the most amazing encounter I've ever had with one of these gorgeous animals! Not to mention I managed to film them swimming under the wayer in front of the boat!

On one trip he drove us up the west coast to Calistoga for a mud bath!! Epic. I miss him still, friends for 44 yrs.

Heeeeyy Adam, I took the sound from that dolphin that made eye contact with you, and I've put it in my special machine 😉 and it will transfer the sound in to human speech. Question, I live in LA and wanna take my boat for a day to Catalina. Can you dock for the day and explore the island? What does the harbor patrol ask of you ?

You sure can. When you approach Avalon radio them (channel 19 I think) and ask for a mooring. They’ll send the boat to take your payment then you radio the shore boat to pick you up and head in (or swim!).
