It is terrifying and they actually lost count of the number of deaths in this hole
Went snorkeling in St. Croix, USVI qhen I lived there for 1.5 years. Went down a ledge like this one. Saw weird things in the coral, dark and murky. Scared the wilikers out of me. Backed away and swam to shore. Yes, I went back in the water because I'm not a scaredy cat! Never went over that ledge again, though!
@melissalaw66342 күн бұрын
I'm from St. Croix! Moved when I was 17. But I still was not aware that there was such a deep blue hole near there. Can you describe what you did see as best as possible? I do remember that locals would often talk about fishermen in their boats would often turn up missing. Fishing gear and maybe a dog in their they wouldn't ever be found again. I remember people mindlessly blaming sharks. As if sharks could reach into their boats and grab them. Personally, I saw one huge squid. It was reaching one of its two whips under the little boat I was in, running it along a rusted pipe. It even matched the color of thr pipe, attempting to camouflage its akinto look exactly like the texture and color of the rusty pipe as it stretched to attempt to get under the boat. The whip then slowly began to rise ever so slowly towards the boat. My friend and I both witnessed this, though she did not understand what she was seeing, nor did she know about giant squids. Thank God we were only crossing from one part of the island to an outer lying smaller island so it never got to the boat. We did however, witness the size of the squid's overall mass as it say just under the surface looking at us, even when we were on land. It turned every imaginable color in the rainbow, showing it's emotions, before finally turning a deep dark red and then shooting off towards deeper open waters. I had to explain what we saw to her afterwards because she was shaking so bad and couldn't stop asking questions about what we saw. I'd love to hear your experiences. And for the record, I have ever seen a single shark in thise waters. But there are some black massive fish with very intelligent eyes that can grow longer than a 6 foot tall human. Identity of species unknown.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This shot is both slowed down and then sped up during this clip. As they do at Weeki Wachee Springs in Central Florida, there are lines that carry oxygen out of sight of the camera. That said, these underwater athletes absolutely have an increased capacity for holding their breaths. A beautiful female form, in motion as if a trained ballerina, against the backdrop of the disconcerting dark depths of the springs is absolutely mesmerizing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

That is incredible…fierce…courageous !!! And the most terrifying image that I think I’ve ever seen.. People like this mostly have spent their entire lives practicing.. challenging.. and preparing themselves to be able to attempt these types of experiences.. she probably spent several years just perfecting her ability to maintain a very extensive length of time under water just on one deep intense hold of breath.. as well as another several years spent on specially on the development of stabilizing the “state of mind”… to become deeply familiar and comfortable and very intensely aware of all aspects of the situation from the legal aspects to the very extreme borderline safety restrictions etc… I would almost bet that the length of time along with the legal requirements for safety awareness , and the many specific permits that are mandatory to obtain in the process etc etc .. that this entire process could almost compare in depth to the processes required to become a medical surgeon, and /or a astrophysicist, and/or psychotherapist etc.. all that preparation to be able master this challenging performance video of only one minute or less to viewers watching,, however, the impact of the viewing is literally so incredibly consuming that it could stimulate the development of a new-level of human consciousness in the present world that would be life-changing for EVERYONE that sees it. .. it is so intense that it completely reaches every single totality of human consciousness To process each movement she makes … wow..!! Sorry for this “novel” comment..!! I have never been this blown away about a video.. so amazing!!!!
