It's always a great day when a BTM86 video shows up in my feed! I too was mainly a Commodore person, but I was familiar with the Apple II as well. The Apple II was the first computer to bring color graphics to the home computer market. I always thought its approach to producing composite color was intriguing. The shortage of dedicated editing keys certainly made it challenging to work on.

That was a really nice presentation and overview. And that's a good looking Apple II as well.

Nice to see a new video! Love your content. But disappointed to see an Apple II video :D I briefly owned an Apple II and was very surprised just how easy it was to get inside it. A bit of a change to the modern day Apple where they make user maintenance so difficult on their iPhones etc. Special tools needed, glued down batteries.... Keep the videos coming ;) Thanks for uploading.

It's a beautiful Apple II with surprisingly little deterioration! I miss the unique color screen. I used an Apple IIe about 40 years ago, and I had built my own 6502 CPU machine language program and interface card. Now I remember the 8-bit computers of those days and make my own from scratch.

Great video! The Apple II series is pretty cool but I still feel the same way today as I did back then. Mainly I wouldn't have traded my C64 for it. Thankfully a few years back I was able to pickup a IIGS at a good price and consider that to be an the pinnacle of the Apple II series.

Cool. I think that drive is actually more of a IIe era though ;)
