Same here but then you try to fight and its quite frustrating…. Also they need to dissociate the roll vertically and landing gear pull up…. But love its flat design. Kinda wish we had also the wing folding like on concept. It was an awesome feature. Best thing, the view. Also it lack love from cig…. Not much skins available :(

ikr! I personally love that they're starter level ships that have accommodations for a second player to. It lets you and a buddy play without really needing two ships to do stuff.

Yea I feel the same way. People have so much time and start to min/max everything with every component. I play what feels nice and interesting. Amd that's what makes it fun for me (sorry for the late reply^^)

I wonder if the science gameplay will involve being able to find, and maybe even gather information on, those temporary Jump Points from a smaller ship. Hopefully with SQ42 being in the polish phase that means things like Science will start getting developed in full soon.

Yea, sadly we dont have any information on this gameloop so it's all just speculation. Hopefully we see some progress in the area of gameloops at citizencon

the actually interesting concept about the Reliant is when the concept of a Cargo ship with main engine VTOL that can lift itself and 6 SCU of Tungsten is converted to a fighter that will never carry 6 SCU of Tungsten. the VTOL is the same, and "up" is a strafe direction. so it's a fighter that can strafe with enough thrust to lift it 3 times. as long as strafing "up" doesn't cause drag on the ship making it flip around. like in vertical mode, or space.

Interesting! I think drag was a topic but might still be far off in development. But I also think that VTOL engines could have a bigger impact or should be needed if you carry a lot of weight in atmo.

@@Luix_OS drag is kind of in the game. if you VTOL up too fast in horizontal, and while in atmo, the ship nose will swing into the direction of travel. that doesn't happen in vertical unless you yaw, so keep to pitch and roll. also keybind VTOL to mouse front or back button or something easily pressable compared to "K". just pitch and roll to change the angle of strafe.

1:00 you dont want to upgrade it to the Atlas, you want to upgrade it to the voyage.

The voyage consumes around 9l quantum fuel per 1M km The atlas just 7.5l per 1M km. Otherwise they're pretty similar You get better range with the same speed with the atlas. Is there something else about the voyage?

od that i see this today yesterday i was thinking that the Reliant has to little love from the verse i always liked it, i think its an interesting ship but i have never seen anyone fly it in game and most people iv asked have not seen one in game. so i made an entery for it on the Ship Showdown 2954 hoping to find like minded people that think this guy deserves a paint. :D i hoped someone else would make an entry but nope. so its just my bad one . grate vid hope this gets the reliant some love :D

I regreted to upgrade my Kore to the Tana. Later got more missles and 2 beds. But it looses cargo space - and other wise its the same.

I love my Tana but it doesn't do well in battle. Needs another shield slot to make it competitive.
