There used to be a paved path down to the RR tracks where people would arrive by train as seen in this video. Many years ago, sometime in the 1960s, I walked down there with another friend. It was on the northwest side of the park where there was a stage. Around the 1930s and 1940s, there was a train from my hometown on the Mon on "Kennywood Day." I have seen films of this. Everyone in town would be on it.
