Dave have you considered instead of screening the soil to a bay, screening it into the hopper you use for filling bags and have it screen straight into tone bags? Save double handballing? Great video again.

Sounds like a plan till there's a fault and you need to untie them all to find the one you are looking for, then different companies will blame each other for straining the phone lines co. alarm cable co, fibre company, camera or security cables they will seperate them and leave them back hanging!!

Stevie I use a garden kneeler it definitely helps with the knee pain, I'm also hate the knee pads as the straps hurt the back of your knees, the garden kneeler would probably suit you much more comfortable kneeling down,great work you and finbar , Stevie another thing especially with the rain I've used a pop up gazebo it helped big time especially with the rain ask your dad to get one no wet clothes 😎👍❤️

Make a metal tray for underneath the trommel, then any mess that comes off the machine from underneath can be removed by pulling the tray out, it will save alot of hand shoveling,

Good afternoon guys. Another fantastic video from the best team on you tube. The volume is 100% better. Nice to see Steve taking on the big jobs he just needs to build up his confidence and trust his instincts. I could tell Stevie was a little bit upset with the progress as his tone of voice lowered i could see the frustration in his face. But he did pick himself back up. Well d and j boys and girls just a quick idea when it’s comes to the trammel, would it better situated in the limestone bay and ballast bay. Little red loads the trammel , earth into the trammel and then to the screener then onto floor separated by two high concrete blocks. It would keep everything separated and efficient. Great video yet again

It was mostly knee pads for me but at times the old trusty kingspan insulation cut off piece served the same purpose ,the only problem was if it was windy and you stood up it would blow away, hahaha 😅. Never realised a problem with the volume to begin with, its all good 👍,.

Have you ever considered doing a mitred 90 degree edge course for your corners? I started to do them and they look a lot neater. Took me a while to get the hang of but i'm sure it's something your dad and you would know how to do much quicker than most of us.

Hi Steve, I used to make my own knee pad using a piece of osb board about the size of a pillow a thick piece of sponge the same size and then I'd attach the two together by wrapping it up fairly tight using duct tape, often saved my knees when welding those bulkheads up in the shop yard, sometimes other guys used the back of an old office chair

I have the same work joggers as you stevie and they have a built in pocket for knee pads - I have some port west ones that just drop in. Saves your knees!

I was the same stevey with kneeling on concrete...I used an orthopedic cushion I got from my dad. They are about 35 quid but well worth it they are called modular foam pressure relief cushion. I know it sounds daft but it was the best thing I bought when I had to give him it back lol

Dave, concerning the nuisance tripping as a quick check look at the machines control panel you were supplying and look for the name plate (normally on the side) and it should inform you of the full-load current for the incoming supply. If this current rating is higher than your breaker in your fuse board you know then you’re underrated 👍🏻 If you need to swap for a higher rated breaker just make sure your fixed installation is suitable sized to handle the increased demand. Stay safe!
