What's the specific name for the type of bass hoops you have? They sorta look like die-cast hoops.

I like Meinl cymbals a lot, but it seems that a lot of drummers on KZbin that use them crack them very easily. It just makes me wonder if it's the players trying to get too much sound out of the cymbal or if the cymbals aren't the strong to begin with. Ive have a zildjian sweet ride for like 7 years now and still no signs of cracking or anything, idk maybe im just lucky

what midi recording software do you use?

I use Logic Pro X! And just run each mic into it's own channel with an audio interface. I used to just run all my mics through a crappy hand-me-down board with only one channel into Logic; which meant I had to eq and set levels before I brought it into the program.
