Definitely agree with Sellen Ellen's theory, at least the part where the daughter is dead. That's why her crayons are old and dirty. That's why the mom never fixed the toy (Which was covered in dust when the man found it) or gave it back to her, because the girl died before she got the chance. Which also explains why the mom threw all her things away. Also why the power was off (The generator was broken and empty, which shows it hasn't been used in a while. Indicating the mom hasn't been around in a while) . And the mailbox was empty and dusty. The girl couldn't answer how long the mom has been gone, because ghosties have a weird perception of time. I think the man is a ghost too, but not much evidence to indicate that... And that his glasses were dirty when he died... that's why he never seems able to get them clean and struggles so much to see. As for the game's opening line.... I can totally see a single mother at her wit's end screaming that at a daughter who keeps misbehaving and putting herself in life-threatening danger. Also explains why the mom keeps warning her about pathways, boogeymen, wolves etc... to try and protect the girl who keeps doing stupid things.

I have a theory that Graham and Hannah are already dead: Graham was killed by wolves in the woods, and Hannah was murdered by her mother who shot her and then shot herself. Grim, I know, and maybe a bit too predictable, but, how else do we explain Graham alone in the woods without a coat, bag, or clear reason to be out there in the first place? The only other option (and reason for explaining his VERY low self-esteem) is that he hung himself from the branch of a tree.
