Addiction is a horrible disease but can be overcome...I had a brother who had an addiction but we as a family intervened and got him the help he needed...He was almost 40 years clean before he passed...I wish others would realize their quality of life would be so much better if they got help...Prayers to all of them

My dad is currently addicted to crystal meth, we’ve taken him to rehab and have gotten his family involved but he relapsed and they gave up on him. He is living with us because we will not leave him on the streets it’s too heart breaking. he’s been on and off the drug since 2019 and we don’t know what else to do. he does it because of his stress of being in debt.

I once offered to help some homeless during our travels and I had a list of things to get them from the store , the guy came in while I was in the queue with their stuff and said can I trade the subway for some food for my dog………broke my heart ! I said I’ll get you everything you need , I do what I can , we work full time so can’t yet be a “ Michael “

In Finland they've cut homelessness down by the thousands because it starts with everybody wanting a place to be safe first rest be able to clean and eat it starts with home first and I believe they were changing shelters into homes, then rehabilitate and jobs

I watch another guy in Dolton GA. He is trying to be you but just doesnt have the personality that you have, at least he is trying. Praying that God gives you strenght to continue to help and for the homeless to continue to go on. I spent 5 yrs in Belize feeding and building small homes for the poor and homeless. I went with $400,000 of the money I made selling my house in NY. I didnt going there expecting to give it all away buy when you see hungry children or sick adults I couldnt not do it. I stay till the money was gone and my husband got cancer. I would do it all over again if I could.

I'm on a fixed income and right on the edge myself of homelessness and it bothers me because I want so bad to do something like this I do have a car, although I try not to drive much because I can't afford repairs or the upkeep, or gas, so I try to use it less as possible, but I would love so much to help or work together with somebody or start something like this I'm not good with technology at all, it's about this is about the only technology I do, I'm in my fifties now, but been there I would love to do something such as this, this gives such hope and brings tears to my eyes
