I miss Scott... We don't see enough of Scott anymore 😢. Michael, you are doing great things! *Thank you!* I know that you know that your neighbors appreciate you , but I've noticed that you don't always hear it from those that you help... I'm often screaming at the screen "Say THANK YOU!", not just " I need this too!" I get it I do, but to me those two words can mean so much! Whenever I'm helping out, for example, every summer we go to Atlantic City for 2-3 days... I don't like to gamble, but I go so that my mother isn't alone and it's the only way I could afford to take my son to the beach and boardwalk and stay overnight. My son and I will prepare small bags like you hand out with a little food, water and hygiene creature comforts, and a note saying something like "Someone thought about you today" or "You are not forgotten" and pass them out to the most needy looking on the boardwalk. There are too many. 😢. One year my husband got to come with us and he went onto the boardwalk to get our little boy done chicken fingers and fries. On his way back to us, he saw an elderly homeless man trying to pick food out if the trash, in the hot sun in New Jersey in August! My husband told him to stop, and handed him the meal of chicken fingers and fries. The man was so grateful and thanked him over and over! He came back to us a little teared up and told us what happened. I saw that he finally understood, that even though we don't have much ourselves, helping others with something so small can change someone's day. My son was not upset, he said "Daddy, it's okay, he needed it more... I hope he likes my French fries!" Helping others who have even less, is a win win situation.

My heart is destroyed at how our fellow humans can treat each other this way 😭. I understand some people choose to live outside because everything is so corrupt in this world but why can’t we fix this problem? Why has it gotten this bad? Good for you. I have a daughter in law that was on drugs for years. My son has raised the two children, and it was a big bad impact on our lives, but now she is clean and sober and just got out of prison so I can only imagine the kind of life you had when you were on the street in doing drugs, God bless you and keep thinking positive

I am so glad you back on. I grew up in Tucson. My niece messed up on fetynal. I keep watching to see if she on street. I live in northwest Indiana now. If I was there I'd look for her. Her parents don't care she a burden. I got messed up with crap not this crap stuff they do now. Just the easy crap & I straightedge up my life I was addicted I had other issues. Self righteous suicide but I good didnt last long. But my niece is lost & won't go to get help & I out here so I can keep check on her just talk to her. My mom raised her pretty much. She passed away my mom. But she wanted me to help her not monetary or anything. Just know she knows someone there & I tell her my life story. Divorced no child support oh I worked my butt off. I lost everything but I strong. Found life is great!

I was a homeless addict. And I have a very good friend to this day. And I treated him worse than she treats Michael. He helped me for over 13 years and never gave up on me. I am a Christian now and he and I went out into the streets together and we fed and shared the gospel for about 10 years together. And I was the meanest one of all to him. Now I am married and my husband is friends with the man who never gave up on me. Addiction is a disease. Don't judge this young lady. We all know that she probably wouldn't survive with out Michael's help. And that's what she needs is for someone to care enough to not give up her no matter what!!! Prayers to Randall, whom clearly has a vascular issue. Might be heart related...that is why he struggles to heal lower extremities, such as arms, legs, AND head. Heat stroke is very possible.
