this is standard with any car or bike , humans need to keep a check on the fuel gauge. and no it wont damage the fuel pump, it will damage the FI mainly. and again not with 1 liter. only that one liter is consumed and the level drops below the fuel pump, only then things go bad.

When I bought by Apache RTR 160 4V, highest speed info was 118kmph and odometer reading was 27km. When I asked, the salesman said high speed because company would test in highest speed before delivery. And the odo reading was because bike had to be ridden to and fro RTO for registration. Please let me know if what he said was truth or a bluff.

@Debal Bhattacharjee According to me, the Bike was surely used before delivery but there should not have been such a High speed recorded on the bike. kms is fine, but high speed is not good, specially when the bike is new. they do sometimes need to take the bike to RTO, its random, and depends from RTO to RTO, officer to officer. Sometimes they get bikes from other dealers. Sometimes they ride the bike from their godown and get to showroom. but in any case 118 kms top speed recorded is not good. Please report to TVS Motor co, send complaints via email, twitter and facebook, if you want to take this matter ahead directly. you can Also check other owners from same showroom, were all their bikes delivered with same approx kms and same top speed.

you want to buy on the new year, why are you in a hurry for the info, ample time :) you should have hurry to check stock of bikes first, all colors are not available easily. So do check on that first . rest I have shown everything and you dont need to do what all is shown, its Done by TVS Showroom, they wont hand over the bike to you directly. its they who do the PDI

What you see in the bike are the accessories ingot at standard price... Also 1. There isn't any offer from TVS motor company for any free bees on the bike. 2. No company offers any freebees on brand new launch bikes. 3. No company offers any freebees for very long time. It's always for a short time. Like one week around festive times. 4. Don't believe all youtubers for what they say: it's not always true or it's not always true for very long or its not true for all dealerships or its not valid for all models of the company or its not valid for country wide dealers. 5. This specific youtuber should have clearly mentioned that the offer is for limited period, in limited region etc. He bought the bike way back in September or October, he has posted the video now. Because he has not clarified everything in the video, this has added unwanted restlessness amongst many people who are interested in buying the bike. I would request you to please explain to the said youtuber to make videos looking at all the things above and or add proper disclaimer

Congratulations. I have one query regarding this bike. I am planning to buy one in next month. My first choice is mt15 because of the brand name Yamaha! And also I have heard lots of things about our Indian brands bajaj & tvs that their bikes get noisy after using 2-3 years and needs lots of maintenance as they get older. So, I need a bike with very low or 0 maintenance for daily city ride. Mileage 35 will be enough. So please clarify this that should I go for mt15 or rtr200? Price & looks does not matter for me. Thanks.

Thanks. I have owned Fiero and RTR 180 in the past and this is my third TVS bike. Frankly I have no idea about the Mt15. there have been many happy customers with RTR, you can cross check on Facebook forums to get first hand info from the owners.

Jab apne bike delivery liya tha tab new me bike chlane pe halka ajeeb awaj hota tha kya. Mere me halka hai service center wale bol rhe new me halka aata hai aisa awaj , friction jyada hone ke karan , 1000 - 1500 km chlne pe hat jyega

@@adarshtiwari222 good decision. Always take test rides and then decide on the bike. Don't restrict yourself to hornet. Check few others too, like ns200 , fz250, Gixxer. Ride all and see, so that in the end, once you finalize, you don't have to repent :)
