The Lexus RC is a great car. I've had my AWD RC for a year and a half. Absolutely no problems whatsoever! It's been perfect in every single way. I get about 19 mpg city and 25 mpg highway driving with the 6 cylinder. It's pretty fast too with a mid 5 second zero to sixty, and the AWD is confidence inspiring in the wet. I would've considered the RCF, but it's not available with AWD. When it comes down to comparing cars, please remember that Toyota (Lexus) quality always ranks at the highest levels in any survey. I got tired of buying domestic junk, and I made the switch to Japanese quality. Lexus treats their customers right, and I can't see myself switching brands after being spoiled by Lexus!

N/A engines sounds so much better! One of the things I like most about the interior is when you start the vehicle, the seat, steering wheel, and mirrors moves back to the current settings. Even if you buckle your seat belt first before starting the vehicle the seat, steering wheel, and mirrors will automatically adjust to the last settings.

jaja I know other brands do it, like for example the i8 and the eco Mustang but those care have small engines (in the case of the i8 a small hybrid engine) and need the sound to add to the driving experience. I own both a 2015 M4 and a 2015 RCF. I own both for different reasons. I don't feel the are comparable other than they are both fast2 door hatchbacks. Drive differently, respond completely different and of course sound different. I appreciate them both in completely different ways. The rcf always beats the m4 at launch when traction control is on. Unless you can get the launch control to stick in the m4. You only have a few seconds to get it right. The M4 is a better track car and more fun. The Lexus RCF a superior GT car and I love the transmission in a completely different way than the M4's transmission. Power delivery is so refined and linear. M4 is brutal and barely faster. I can beat the m4 occasionally depending on where we are at in the gearing . I am it sure if the performance package I have helps with that at all. I would imagine hear ratios are the same but the sport includes torque vectoring. At high speed roll starts it's the RCF, but the BMW always catches back up. UNTIL we get to higher speeds and then the RCF will take the M4. I would imagine displacement would be the reason for that. But under 110-120's. The m4 is quicker all day. But not by a lot. It just feels way more brutal. The RCF is made to always feel comfortable and linear. And it does. It feels like endless power that will never end. Where u notice in the BMW it's putting down brute power until your in the low 120's mph. It's still very fast but the RCF seems to really be in its best power band up high. I completely prefer the interior of the Lexus and it's much more comfortable. I also rather my m4 be like the precious m4's much more sport and a lot less luxury than it currently is. But it sure is pretty. All in all my RCF feels like a luxury/GT version of my M4.

Adam Reichl I'm going to give 2 answers for 2 different reasons. If I could only afford one car but i had limited funds for maintenance. It would be the RCF. The only reason is I have owned many BMW M cars. My 6 series just hit 57k mikes and cost me 5k in repairs. All of my other M cars have always been very very needy and cost 2- 2.4k minimum every 15,000 miles after 55-60k miles. They are performance and need routine care. If I could only afford one car and that much care is a problem then I would def stick with the reliability of the Lexus. Plus Lexus service is sooooo good. Free car with oil change completely clean car when returned. Low cost of maintenance. Lexus has spoiled us to the point we find other dealers INTOLERABLE. Anyone who owns a Lexus will tell you. Even if a better car came out. The Lexus service is SOOOOOO good. You can't go back. If I have the funds and we are not talking about money as a factor. I would do the m4. The new m4 cars are so good at being GT cars now too. It's a soft plush ride. Just as good as the RCF as far as bumps and soaking up standard roads. I live in south Florida. We have flat perfect roads everywhere. If I lived in our house up north. I would do the RCF. The m4 is not option. Everything goes out the window. The rcf traction control Management system is the best I have ever seen in any car I have ever owned. Some may say it's heavy involved. That's fine. For up north in weather. It's fantastic. Basically I'm trying. To give real life variable answers to take into account. If money wasn't a factor. I would own both. Just like I do. If I was concerned about out of pocket long term maintenance. Get the rcf. The BMW will be pricey especially if it's your only car. You are going to put miles on it. If u have disposable income and money is not a factor. I love the BMW m4. It's very luxurious now. Plus it can bring out that pure raw power. It's a great mix. I personally prefer my m4 feel less refined like they were originally designed. But BMW has to make money and now we have a beautiful balanced m4.

The reason this car gets hate is because Lexus hyped it as the best car ever, and that it handles better than an M4 (which it absolutely doesn't). It's also not as close to the M4/C63 as the previous ISF was compared to the previous-gen M3/C63. Hopefully an LC-F will rectify this (they already got the looks down with that car by a significant margin).

Hmm, the dash board area seems much like something they'd put in one of the large SUVs they offer, but not a sports car. Regardless, very kind of Lexus to loan you the car, and it seems like a nice car. Toyota/Lexus produce great cars, and the high end ones are especially nice, comfortable, and reliable. Time to wait for the review to see how Lexus did in the fun category!

Don't really care that most people hate this car. I'm a huge fan of GT cruisers and NA engines so I love it. Plus I have a weird obsession with orange cars. But I agree it's too heavy and I hate the trackpad controller Lexus uses, it's stupid. The center dash is merely okay, nowhere near as nice as the one in the LC500.

First Impressions are good. The styling is very progressive, im unsure about the head light design because the LED is separated from the main lights. It will probably grow on me in a few years. I dont know if it was the angle of the side to rear bumper but the bumper looked oversize. I'm not sure on how to explain it.
