This is an annoying car. It is a complete contradiction of itself, it is an M car that weighs about the same as a Grand Cherokee. M cars are (or were) track focused performance cars, which this clearly is not. Then Gran Coupe, a coupe is a two door car, BMW should have named this something else honestly. I feel that the interior is pretty dated, nothing really makes the inside very unique and it seems like a boring interior for such an expensive car. With all of that being said this annoying car is pretty fucking awesome.

No. Although the M division began with the E9 race cars, and the first car that wore the M badge on the street was the M1, which was a very low production race car for the street, the M cars have always been more of the autobahn cruiser kind. Let's go back towards the end of the M1's life- the next M car was the M535i- an E12 5-series was never made to be a sports car. The next M car was the E24 6-series- again, it's not a sports car, but a luxury grand tourer. Then followed another M5, the E28, and only after this car did the first M sports car come out in the shape of the E30 M3. After the E30, though, the focus switched again- starting from the E36, M3s became more luxurious and geared more towards the GT sector, while still maintaining the sports car feel (and size). For true enthusiasts, pretty much every generation of M3 had a more track-oriented variation- LW for the E36, CSL for the E46, GTS for the E9x and another GTS for the F80 M3's coupe twin, the F82. M street cars have rarely been track oriented, especially in their standard form.

dont even tell me about it. i have e92 3 series coupe and i am having failure every other week and not even counting many faults i am simply ignoring.....it's unbelievable....bmw's are made to drive sporty and that's why ppl probably buy them, but the ride is harsh and stiff and it breaks and breaks and breaks.....low quality car. i have jaguar and it was much much better in reliability and comfort.....

but M cars was originally made to be a high performance track oriented car...a street car you can take to the track...the grand coupe is not a track car not even with the competition package. i think they should of name the car something different and not make it a M car...the M car stood for something before they came out with the F series M cars...listen to how they sound now...look how small the engines are now...its not just all about horsepower, it was also about the feel M cars gave there owners and Bmw is going away from there M car faithfuls and trying to appeal to the masses which is why they're losing a lot of there faithfuls.

Talkditings dem Not true, the first M was the M1, but the first M based on an actual BMW model was the M5 E28. It's pretty much the opposite of what you're describing, and much more like the M6 Gran Coupe. There are different types of cars that can fit in under the M label.

aight. so i've been a hardcore bmw enthusiast for a long time. I've always looked at mercedes and thought they were cool, kind of a different breed from BMW i guess. anyways ill be getting rid of my F30 3-series in February. I love everything about the car, but I really wanted to try something different for my next car. i had my heart set on an E60 530i (naturally aspirated inline-six in an E60 body, literally my definition of heaven idk about you though). after test-driving a bunch of them, i wound up buying a completely mint W203 Mercedes-Benz C280 4Matic in midnight blue metallic. I fell in love with it the second i hopped behind the wheel, and I bought it in cash right on the spot. I'm storing it over the winter so I can use up the last of my 3-series until the lease is up. not even sure why I'm commenting, but I love this channel so much and I guess I just wanted your approval. haha

You forgot to put it in the M mode, theres M1 and M2 on the right side of the steering wheel. when you do that traction control turns off the MDM light comes on and the responsiveness picks up a lot and the i know for the m4 the exhaust valves open and it screams like a straight pipe

dear parker, please tell eddy that he would look much better if he changed up his hairstyle. he has a round face which makes him look young and puffy, but with that short hairstyle he has going on, it only accentuates the roundness. he needs to consider growing his hair out on top while keeping it short on the sides, as this would draw less attention to that roundness and create more dimension and balance. something he wants to think about.

There are 2 different body styles this one is called *GRAN* coupe because it has 4 doors and it has coupe like designs...thats why they added gran to to the name......
