900 hp means it got premium 91-93 in the tank. If it had mostly E85 in the tank it would automatically activate the full 1025 HP and would say so on the screen. The flex-fuel sensor allows the computer to adjust the engine's parameters based on the ethanol content of the fuel. you can have any combination of premium 91-93 and E85 Ethanol in the tank and the car will automatically adjust power accordingly based on the octane. The more E85 you have in the tank the more power you make, anywhere from 900 HP up to 1025 or more. I say or more because If you live in an area that's not too high of an altitude, you have a great DA and a crisp 50-degree day at the strip the Demon 170 would actually make closer to 1100 HP! It just depends on what part of the country you live in.

Cloth seats are for reducing the weight. I believe you could have ordered it with no back sear for weight reduction. If you reduce the weight and if it’s on E85 she will do 8.9 in the quarter. The additional weight your over 9…still insane. Enjoy!!

ALL BAD INFORMATION IN THIS VIDEO ABOUT THE 170. Previous Demon has ALL the features the 170 has except the different way you use each one’s transbrake they both have. He has the cheap seats because it was ordered that way. I ordered mine with the leather seats which is same as in my 2018 Demon. 900hp is on pump gas and once he puts E85 it will go to 1025hp. The front is narrow because it saved 16lbs off the front end. The car runs 8.91sec in the 1/4mile not 9.1sec. Lol. You did no research.

If it’s saying 900hp you are probably on a mixture of e85 and regular pump gas from the factory possibly. The demons ecu has been updated to automatically recognize what fuel it has and adjusts the power accordingly. My friend has a 2015 hellcat and she couldn’t use her launch control until the 1000 mile mark, I guess it’s wise to keep your 170 at 900hp until it’s broken in then go nunce with e85 and get your full 1025hp 😊🎉

The car says 900hp because they come off the trailer with 93 octane. Once he gets a full tank of e-85 the car will read the fuel content and update the power to 1025.

the e8 is the alcohol %, so its running pump gas 93/91 pump gas, not e85, if it was e85 it would be closer to 65-75% showing on that dash indicator. Only way you really get the advertised alcohol % is getting it in a barrel from a reputable fuel source.

It will show 1000 hp after 500 mile break in and using red key, and the e85. The higher the percentage, the higher the hp level. 1) 500 miles 2) Full e85 3) Red key.

Dodge claims that the new Demon 170 runs an 8.9 in the quarter mile. The Demon 170 actually comes standard with just the one-cloth driver seat for weight savings. Yes, the car comes standard from Dodge with just the driver's seat! Dodge offers an option to add the passenger and rear seats back in and you can choose cloth or leather. You can choose to load them out with the premium stitched dash and door panels as well as an Alcantara suede headliner, laguna leather/Alcantara suede seats, Harmon Kardon, and sunroof. It's all available as options, but the standard spec is the lightest possible spec, which is how you should order this car so that you can run the claimed 8.9 second quarter mile time! The car in the video is the perfect color and spec! They added the seats back so you can take people for rides on the street but then the owner can just take the seats out when hitting the strip and they got the red seat belt option which is a must. Otherwise, the car in the video is a base Demon 170. I go back and forth on how I would spec mine if dealerships actually sold these cars at MSRP and I was able to order one. I do like the nicer material on the premium stitched dash and door panels but in order to get that you have to opt for leather seats. Those power leather seats are heavy AF and I would put some nice lightweight drag racing seats in it anyhow. I'd also opt for no rear seat because I'd be putting in the direct connection harness bar and five-point harnesses along with their carbon fiber rear seat delete panel.
