I'm also a Wisco guy. Ordered a 2024 XLT ecoboost AWD, 4k tow, 360 copilot. My order is scheduled for week of Oct 30th! I'm happy about that! I'm guessing it will arrive between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I wouldn't ever buy a hybrid, but it is nice. I'm glad to see there are new trucks that don't cost $70,000.

My wife has a 2023 xlt hybrid and she loves it... especially that it gets 52mpg on the interstate and she has hit 61mpg around town. It drives just like any car you've driven. It is quiet and you can't tell if it is running on the engine or the battery unless you look at the instrument panel. The all up price was $27,800. That includes delivery, dealer prep, tag, tax, registration and 2 options: trailer hitch and full size spare tire. Also includes 6 complementary oil changes. Drive one and in about 5 minutes you'll change about owning a hybrid.. at least a Marverick hybrid. Plus, on a road trip you can drive 600+ miles before you have to stop for 13.5 gallons of gas.

My ford dealership refused to sell me a Maverick as i have a Z plan pin. Pretty pitiful that ford dealerships will screw over their own ford employees. Enjoy your truck.

Nice video perspective from a Ford dealership employer. How does a new vehicle never driven get 16 miles on it? Do they get some sort of test drive at the factory before shipment?

Traded the Ford ranger in on the Silverado last year. Had big changes in my personal life. Ranger had to go.... But you never know what will come next....

That kind of stinks, but guess as you said life changes + "it is what it is". Yours was a nice truck! My 2020 Ford Ranger XLT Super Cab 4x4 had a bad wiring issue that sadly it gone over miles on my full "bumper to bumper" warranty so it wasn't covered + would've cost me nearly $3K. I got a great trade-in on it & am loving my 2022 (holdover) new Ford F-150 XLT Super Cab 4x4 with the 2.7 liter EcoBoost V6 now. Best of luck on your brand-new custom order Ford Maverick!!

Looking on Google maps it looked like they have a test oval there at the plant in Mexico. I would image with a lap around that and all the driving between the lots to the trains to the transport truck the maverick would get a few miles on it. I believe it was around 11 miles coming off the truck. There is a process for pre delivery inspection that required by ford for a new which includes a Tech from the dealership putting a certain amount of miles on too.
