Day 1 Cybertruck reservation holder here. I have an invite to order the Foundation Series. I'm not likely to pull the trigger...I can't even test drive it, and there've been a lot of reported issues. I'll hold the reservation until they make me cancel it...but in the meantime, I'm going to lease an R1T! :D

But I want to lease this truck considering EV gone down in value so fast (and Tesla constant price manipulations). So I am excited to put in a order for a R1T in the meantime.

This is a fantastic truck. I'm not even a truck guy, and I'd consider getting one of these. It's just a very well thought out vehicle. A couple of my friends have them - I wouldn't say they're especially great for towing anything large, but if you go short distances that doesn't even really matter.

Welcome to the fray! Absolutely love ours, we have a Model Y and R1T. Just got done doing our first 2500 mile roadtrip in the R1T and was super amazed to get 2.5 miles per kw, so a realistic 325 on the trip, which included some mountain roads, lots of 80mph driving too. Found the trip in the r1t took a ton less stops than our Model Y took last year.

Love my R1T Quad...wondering what you think in the coming weeks of drive time, about the feel/handling of the "part-time" AWD...as the Dual motor switches from AWD to Front Wheel drive, I think 0-18 mph AWD, 19 and over and its front wheel drive. Can you hear the disconnect?

Congratulations on the new Rivian. I have a model y but would love a R1T as well. The cable is the security cable for things in the bed, btw. Lol. You got a lot to learn with a good vehicle. As for the license plate, i wish I i was in Arizona. If a front plate comes with the car, you have to put it on the front as well. Found that out the hard way here in Illinois. But this state useless as well. Lol
