Great job overall, but there's a critical safety concern worth noting. The lack of a proper notch in the final cut caused the tree to barber chair, which could have seriously injured the operator and ruined a valuable log that could have been sold at the mill. It’s always essential to use proper notching techniques to prevent dangerous situations like this. Glad no one was hurt, but this could be a learning point for anyone in the industry!

Shallow notch lead to the barber chair which can lead to a fatality, also crew cleaning up after the tree is done & not during the tree cutting, is that because of a limited crew doing a lot of jobs?..Thank you for the vid

Yes he would not have won the game of logging, but he was away from the tree when the skid steer pulled on it. Imagine same dude, same day trying to wedge that thing over.
