53:53 yes you can climb and thats how you actually get into the top floor locked room (jump over from the top) you just gotta click on the ladder.

Save before you do this, Leave most of your supplies behind. Climb tower in back to top, there is a light at top which is the hint to climb. Look at buildings. there is a open door. Jump to the door from the top of the tower.

You did kinda rush the first areas.. if you had stayed longer where there were the scavenger bots you could gotten enough mats to make your roof before getting to the cave

Agreed. For some reason, he's treating this like a speedrun - he even missed some hidden loot areas (and that means materials and components). Most of the time I complain about players packratting, but this is a game where you HAVE to packrat - or you die. Chill the pootis out, and take your time. (yes, that was a cold pun)

In order to get the lab code, you need to climb the communication tower next to lab and jump on to the lab roof.

Just some inside for ahead always check out side areas around the stations, before & after them plenty of loot off to the sides. Ohh and u can lure scavenger drones with loot by placing it on the ground ahead of the train, as they use a tractor beam to collect the loot u have a brief moment to destroy them. It's highly recommended to unlock the dense material to make the walls and roof less likely u'll end up dead from being shot but they are very heavy and requires more energy to move the train until you add more power storage.

I went back to check after it happened, and I think the reason you died is that after you ran out of stamina, every big movement that usually took stamina actually took your health. So you were hurting yourself by just the act of jumping and running. At least, that’s what it looked like to me. As for the missing log, I have no idea. I didn’t notice anything. But it definitely sounds like that note is the one with the door code. I hope you find it. I love this game, even though it can be ridiculously challenging in some ways. 😅

canned soup does WAY more energy. Also T is for Take all if you wanna grab everything. I noticed that about same area you are at lol everything need repairs because you didnt have a roof the cold destroys things fast

You climbed the tower in the demo, you might want to watch yourself. LoL. Also, the floor strategy isn’t likely to end well. Your turret might neeed some repairs too. You can unlock dense materials over at the fab so you can build thebneeeded ice turret

@46:16 There's a room at the top of those stairs you can ses theres a widow there. I honestly dont remember you going into there. It's the stairs from the ground floor the room is on the first floor. When you get to the top of the stairs, it looks like you're at the back side of the room, and the door looks like it would be around the front. Hope it helps, my friend. Edited: I just went back and looked at a clip from the from of the same room. There is a door at this time stamp @50:32

Addendum: the game told you "items in use deteriorate in time". THAT is what destroyed your stuf. Seriously, man, not all text in a game is flavor text...

Ok, the game has the most idiotic "respawn" mechanic ever. Why, in a game with limited resources, would you ever accept permanently losing items? Given that the game is stingy with early items, and you're only really likely to die at the beginning when you're not self-sufficient, literally 99% of people will just choose to reload....
