There have been other cases of this, but that was the biggest one.

Here, En passant is only applicable when the pawn is on h4. Since it's on h3, hxg2+ is impossible. And, even if it is on h4, only hxg3+ is possible.

Time wins are real, play chess right. All you have to do is make it too hard for the other guy to think of safe moves, and just eat when they fail and you don't. Time loses don't feel real because of "OTHER" "possible" conditions, but the move or lose time is mechanic IS meant to address how ADDICTED you are to winning on the board. Winning on the board requires checkmate, the other guy may not be letting you do that, so it's just a move safely game. Have a time edge and making all the safe moves not wasting time thinking about ... anyway, just don't get addicted to winning on the board, when you pick a low time control, it's a low time control, and if it wasn't extra time to think never "hurts" your brain says, having less time... but also, noticing IF your opponent is making optimal moves, how you are gonna handle repetitions, if they are just time squeezing you, that's chess.
