For those of you that made it to 3:22:59 R2b3 pinning the queen to the king does not win for black because we cannot recapture the rook, knight on c4 recaptures with a royal fork. We also cannot play the Kg8 like Aman suggested because Rdh6 absolutely destroys us. The double rooks hunt the king down brutally. In the other line with Qa6 Rxe5 dxe5 Rxg7+, We don't have to capture the rook back!!! It's not forced we just play Kf8 and white has no more checks. I think the puzzle would have stopped after Kf8. But now we are threatening either rook to b3 and we're cruising. What a crazy puzzle

They didn't go over their first strike (2:43:25 to 2:44:35), so here's why 1...Qb7 wasn't the answer: 1...Qb7 2. e4 Qb6+ 3. Kh1 Qe3 4. Rf1! Rc1 5. Qb5! holds up the back rank. Then Black would have to force a draw by 5...Qxf4 6. Kg1 Qe3+ 7. Kh1 Qf4, etc. On the other hand, if 1...Qc3 there are four moves that don't hang the rook: 2. Kf1 Qd2 unstoppable mate 2. Rb1 Qxe3+ 3. Kh1 Rc1+ and mate 2. Rd1 Qxe3+ 3. Kh1 Rc1 4. Qa4 Qd2 5. Rg1 Rxg1+ 6. Kxg1 Qe1# 2. Rf1 Qd2! forces 3. Qa8 and then 3...Qxe3+ 4. Kh1 Rc1 and now there is no access to the a6-f1 diagonal for the queen, so Black wins

@nopunchman

the issue was that after ...Qb7 e4 Qb6+ Kh1 Qe3 white goes Rf1 Rc1 Qb5, then I don't think there's anything better than a draw by ...Qxf4 Kg1 Qe3+ Kh1 Qf4 etc.

At first I struggled to understand the name of Westerinen. Vowels "ei" in Heikki are pronounced quite a lot like "a" in a word baby. Double "kk" has quite a lot weight in it also, it is not a double k for nothing. Nice stories from Yasser. Such a great story teller
