You did an EXCELLENT job braiding your hair. The parts were even and the braids were uniform. And to have all those braids, 7hrs wasn't bad. Also, I think it's a good idea not to leave braids in your hair for a long period of time. I have worn braids and now I have locs that I had for 17yrs. Those styles when left in for long period of time will thin out the hair over the years. My hair use to be very thick 4c hair, now it's very thin 4c hair. It will never grow back to what it once was. Your natural hair looks beautiful.

You did a great job installing them yourself. Next time rinse the hair in apple cider vinegar and water. That's what I did this last time I did knotless braids and it helps remove that dye and chemicals that was added to the hair.

Only time I would stretch my braids out over a few weeks is if I paid for it..my $200 has to be worth at LEAST a month in a half Honeychile😂. Thankfully I’ve learned also how to braid my own hair so yeah I definitely only leave them in a few weeks, swimming regularly causes buildup QUICK.
