I’m about 4 months in… I’m used to having long pressed hair. I was feeling like a chia pet🤣. Once I got over my self sabotage, and just embrace my micro locs is when my journey became a beautiful one!!!! No bad hair days. I just love them and my hair has been growing back thick and curly.

You're the reason why I wanna try getting locs again im just in love with your micro locs...I tried locs a few years ago when I went natural but I didn't take care of them like I should so I chopped them off...then I decided to do instant locs with extensions and I didn't like the way they looked on me so I combed them out...however, i feel like the micro locs could work for me so here's to trying a 3rd set lol wish me luck lol ❤❤

@@luv-velvet well I wasn't twisting them like I should, I was washing my hair but adding no product I mean not even oil...I thought if I just let water in it'll mat up easier and boooy did it get matted...I wasn't wrapping my hair up at night...so not only was it getting extremely matted but it was also getting flat...the locs weren't rounded they were flat like paper...I wasn't taking good care of my locs like I should have...from a distant they looked pretty because I had dyed my hair before installing and my natural curl pattern was a little curl ringlet...but up close and personal my locs were a hot mess...I didn't read up on it like I should have so I def learned from my mistakes....however the instant locs I decided to do with synthetic hair instead of human hair and to me they just didn't look right...they were a little too thick putting them in a ponytail just made me tenderheaded so I had to take that mess out....soooooooo lol I decided to research on micro locs and I feel like these would work for me as I can be more flexible with my hair than if I got a thicker looking loc if you know what I mean...hope that answered your question lol 😆
