Can't begin to express how thankful and relieved I am about Michael fixing the log burner. I used one for years and have always been worried about how hot you were running the log burners, afraid you'd burn down the chateau or something. A huge thank you to Michael. Hope Ollie's time with you and so many other wonderful people eases body mind and soul. Love to all.

Thanks to Michael, "Jack of all Trades", for repairing the wood stove...what he did was really important in allowing proper & even heating. I'm certain you will all see a difference! Ollie is beginning his journey back to wellness & greater creativity! Blessings, Ollie! We all love you & are cheering you on!! Very fun & informative video, Stephanie & love watching Philip & Amaury dismantling the Trumeau & investigating decades of paint & wallpaper! Interesting, indeed!! 🇺🇸

When I lived in a home on a mountain in New Mexico we put in a woodstove that had a small built in fan at the top. It was not visible but it was effective. The warm air from the fire triggered it. I was wondering if there is a way you could use a fan to encourage the warm air further into the room? Trick is to find something unobtrusive. A warm Stephanie is a happy Stephanie!

@kathleensmith8365 I have seen similar devices available to order online. When the heat rises to a certain temp, the fan kicks on. I believe people use them often on emergency propane heaters, but they can be used anywhere. Don't know about in the UK, but surely they are available over there.

There's nothing like living in a big, beautiful house full of pleasant, creative people--all doing their own thing--yet together. I loved that type of energy when I experienced it in the past. It would be nice to live like that again. (In my dreams...) I saw the unicorn tapestry at The Cloisters when I was there a long time ago. How funny about the little "naughty painting" within the painting you had in that room. 😄 Love to see Ollie painting again, and Michael Petherick fixing things, and everybody doing what they do so well.
