He was one of the first content creators in the outdoors/fishing realm to figure out the formula for success! Better content more consistently with big fresh ideas! Even as one of the best film makers and editors on his own, he hired a cameraman and editor early on giving him the ability to pump out tv/movie quality content and the ability to film multiple trips and between him and Caleb they can take the time necessary to edit to the Jon b standard and release content on a regular basis to keep us engaged!

Carl and Alex are very long time anglers, just over in the UK. Like dawn of KZbin anglers. But it is indeed awesome to see primarily UK carp fishermen come here and go after predatory fish. One of these days it would be awesome to see all three of them up in AK for a couple of weeks. Pike, Salmon, Halibut, Ling.....

Wow Jon another banger this content is fire keep it up I am so thank full of you videos they are so good!!! Also I think something you would like is smallmouth bass fishing Hawaii there are some streams and creeks in the jungle and in the city’s that hold big smallies nothing crazy 1 to 3 pounds is a big one but I think you would enjoy that and it would make a fire vid there are tons of streams and creeks on Oahu and Kauai there are also some peacock bass on Oahu and Kauai they get pretty big like up in the 6 pound range. But they are pretty tough to get. Also on Oahu there are very few but some largies and on Kauai there are lots of latgies and they get big like some 10s have been caught! There are also wild trout in the streams on Kauai that would be sick to target! The largies are in lakes but on Kauai there also in golf ponds throughout the island! Thank you Jon keep it up!!👍 hope you like the idea it would be a sick vid!!🤙

My Dad and I stopped at that baitshop when I was a little kid (back in the 90’s before he passed). We grabbed a pack of sand worms to fish for Tommy Cod off the bridge since we missed the tide for Striper. Spent my entire childhood and early teens on the south shore of MA and never landed so much as a schoolie. 20 years later and I’m dying to head back home Mass to finally hook into my first Striper ❤

Although its a lot harder to film (and research), I'd recommend looking into some night time shore fishing for stripers. Usually more plentiful and larger fish at night, plus insane therapeutic benefits that i've experienced. Southern New England and Maine have some amazing spots that are easily accessible for night fishing! Plus so many more lures that are you'd never know about or think work are absolutely killer at night! From an OG fan, love seeing my area get some love on the channel P.S. the quahog dish in the beginning are called stuffies, and theyre a rhode island dish

When the bite is down. Try some live lining. I noticed you're using all artificials but the bass are much pickier when there isn't a massive feeding frenzy. Try using live eels or sea worms near jetty and structure. Menhaden and herring work in the open water. If all else fails, the area where you guys are you can hook up some tautog bottom fishing with crabs.

I posted this comment in July of this year on his fishing on the rocks for striper video. “I know it’s hard because of the baby and everything. But I would kill for another international series. Link up with Louie in the Amazon, hook up a reunion with Carl and Alex in England (even though they’ve since disbanded.) Brigg and cav in Australia needs no introduction. Or even Peter in South Africa. Hell I would even take fishing with I believe his name was Steven on Lake Superior lol. Clearly I know your content” Since then, he’s gone to the Amazon, countless new trips with friends, the damn never stop tour 3, and now is fishing with Alex and Carl again. This man truly listened to the people. Way to go brother !
