I was a Corpsman with the 3rd Marines, Quang Tri Province, right along the DMZ. Hearing that intro creeped me out. I rode in too many Hueys. Even bailed out of one about 30 feet up when the tail rotor got taken out on dust off. That was another life....

@@ProjectPast1565 Thanks! Love your videos - very well done. I attended a Marine Corps reunion held in Gettysburg last year. First time in 50 years I heard anyone call me "Doc". I stumbled across your channel looking to learn what I might about my Gt Gt Grandfather's service in the 62nd Pennsylvania Infantry. He and his brother's names are listed on the big PA memorial. And I saw their monument and flank markers in the Wheatfield. Family talk was always that he was in the Stoney Hill section.

That’s a title you’ve earned. I’m happy you found my channel and that you’ve been enjoying the content. I’ll keep an eye out in the wheatfield for that monument when I go back. Thanks for sharing your family’s story.

My uncle flew a Huey in Vietnam and Cambodia from December 1968 to December 1969 and later served as an instructor at Fort Rucker, Alabama. He now runs Veterans Radio in the metro Detroit area. Thanks for sharing this exciting and memorable experience!

I used t always stop and look up when I heard these guys flying. I never personally flew in one of these, but I did fly in the CH-46 a time or two at HMS 263. Those Huey pilots were the best in the world.

Reminds me of my very first ride back in 2018. I gotta say it's such an honor flying and hovering in that. Good, no... No words could describe it, honestly! PS. It made me feel like a little kid! Hehe

NO Nam era tunes, Dude!! lol So glade they had some fellow reenactors on site with a real nice display. LOL the best feeling is when they bank and you can hang your feet and arms out the door with only that thin seat belt holding you in LOL or listening to your Plt Sgt sitting in the door gunner position reliving his youth from when he was a door gunner in Nam. up my way Battleship Cove just got back there Huey that went out for a new paint job ( for static display only) but the New England Air Museum in CT has 1 that they fly, also the Collings Foundation has 1 along with a F4 Phantom, TA-4 Skyhawk, F-100 Supersabre based in TX that they fly for airshows an such.Glad you had a fun time. 160th going to be a heck of a good time

😂 I know. I didn’t want to get hit with a copyright strike from KZbin. I’ll have to make my way there sometime to check those out. Can’t wait for the 160th! It’s getting closer.

Do you really think we clicked on your video to see footage of the Huey overdubbed with your gay music instead of the sound of the Huey?

Well, aren't you just a ray of sunshine? I figured someone so positive would love the “happy” groovy music.
