Eli Rowe is a licensed pilot, a highly experienced paramedic, and the founder and president of Hatzolah Air.
Eli's passion for emergency medicine and helping those in need are apparent and infectious and have facilitated him building Hatzolah Air from an idea to a full-fledged air rescue organization in just a few years.
On a daily basis, Eli is busy organizing, staffing, and flying Hatzolah Air missions. In his spare time, he can be found fundraising for Hatzolah Air and running his successful Health IT company, WOMBA.

So many things I wanted to comment on, but I'll just leave one: what I found most impressive about Eli is how with all the chessed he does, he still finds (makes) time to learn torah, and he sounds like a talmid chacham. That was an amazing podcast. But what struck me was how the Rebbe has once again been the forerunner of yet another amazing campaign, that of having all of Klapholz yisroel take part in the writing of a Torah, simply by each one buying a letter. Of all Jewish organizations that help people Hatzalah definitely rates top! And it does not matter in which part of the world they are. I once had the occasion to call Hatzalah in Melbourne Australia. For my three year old grandson who had gotten his finger stuck inside aVCR Machine. They were there within minutes and dealt with the situation in the most professional and caring manner ever.

My husband has been part of Hatzolah in Philadelphia for about 7 years now. It is definitely a family affair. Both myself and my kids have alerted my husband to calls if he was in a deep sleep or away from his radio for a few minutes. The wives also have to maintain the confidentiality of the calls, because we know who lives where when the address is announced on the radio...it's a really special chessed to be apart of....

I grew up in queens and in my s h u l was Q52, doctor neil levy. Back then, the ambulances were a station wagons. I went to school with a boy named daniel gleich. His father was simcha gleich. They both were very into Hatzolah. When I went to israel in nineteen eighty nine comma daniel brought his hatzolah medic box and actually used it to help me. Yasher koach. People have no clue what it was like back then and how it has blossomed.
