Apologies for the wonky footage in this, I was paying more attention to Elin than the camera angle.
I am taking her to hospital with cluster seizures, again. This is what the morning looked like.
I'm a special needs mum vlogger in the UK with two daughters, one of whom is severely disabled. Elin is a girl with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, she has a feeding tube, is a wheelchair user and as she can't use the toilet independently she is in a nappy / diaper.
Apart from cerebral palsy, Elin has complex medical needs and seizure disorder. She has tonic clonic, or grand mal seizures, partial focal seizures and absence seizures. She is on multiple medications every day, for her spastic muscles, for her reflux disorder and for her epilepsy. Elin is on a blended diet, which we give her through her feeding tube, and I share tips, how to and recipes.
On this channel I share our day to day life, our morning, feeding, medication and bedtime routines, feeding techniques, how Elin communicates, etc. I also showcase the relationship between Elin and her sister Alice, and how they play and interact with each other.

We have rescue meds, I gave her some the night before. But she needed more. Sadly she then spiralled and when that happens her stomach shuts down and she must have IV fluids and medicines, and that isn't something that can be done outside of hospital.

For 6 years of my life I was living with seizure clusters, written in the ONA (Ontario Nurses Association) magazine numerous times, and various medical journals as I was having those little wobbles 200-300 times a day along with 20-30 tonic clonics a day. It was a hard time of my life from age 10-16 until dr Andermann saw me. I pray the best for your daughter.

Hi Cynthia. Elin is 8, she's been having seizures her entire life but we didn't know (crap epilepsy doctor who couldn't tell us and she doesn't show up as epileptic on EEGs). She has quadriplegic cerebral palsy from birth. Yeah, the towel is there for when she throws up, throwing up is a given for her.

It happens a few times a year now. it used to be five times a year, before we even knew it was seizures, now it's much further between these episodes

She screws up the side of her face, drools a lot, breathing gets fast and shallow, her head drops, sometimes she spasms a little, often there is a tremor in her body. Buy most signs of her seizures are very, very hard to spot.
