It wasn't sad in any measure but seeing lily catch her fish fish actually brought a tear to my eyeing. Seeing the excitement that I remember when I was 5 years old is what I hope for any junior angler trying the sport for the first time. I'm 43 years old and still remember my first fish caught when I was 5 years old with my father, a 12" walleye in Starkweather Creek in Madison, WI ! All of my favorite memories are fishing with my father since the cancer took him 22 years ago. Fishing is a passion that he shared with me and I can't get enough of to this day, and it also makes me feel like he is still around in some sort of way. I have taught friends how to fish and there is nothing better than seeing their reactions when they hook up and land something !

I take my 15, 6 and 3 year old kids out and working on getting my wife out to. My daughter helps with the two boys and they catch sunfish and bluegill's galore.
