I put an eye screw in the end of my jugs and put an 1' to 1 1/2" piece of rebar inside, when you throw your jug in you make sure the rebar is on the opposite side of the eye screw. When a fish bites and pulls the jug down the rebar falls and the jug then floats vertical for easier identification! Love the vids keep up the great work! Tell neighbor Darrell to start a part time cooking channel for his secrets, I want to know how to make the venison summer sausage. I will be making a purchase and shooting you an Instagram if my old self can figure all this fancy new fangled stuff out LOL.

I've never had jugs stolen (we can't use them here) but I've had any number of crab pots raided and/or stolen. It's a bit of an epidemic in my area lately. We call them "share-farmers" or "share-fishers". It's gotten to a point where you drop your pots, or in your case jugs, and don't let them leave your line of sight.

you should get as many of your fishing friends as you can and do a road trip/ fishing trip to every state in the U.S.A. Every time you go to a state that has a friend/friends that fish they get add to the road trip tell at the last state everyone is all there for one really big fishing trip and at the last state you all get a big cabin for you all and fish. All the states you can drive to all 49 states. you might even meet new fishing youtubers.

Nobody stole your jugs. The fish showed you what happened. They got hit and got pulled under and wrapped around all that submerged timber. Once a fish gets wrapped up and cinched around a stick, every tug can pull your jug down deeper and you'll never see it again. If some other boater stole your pipe rigs, you would have seen them. At least you got enough for a meal. Chef Darrell can make some stuff!

Never had Jugs stolen, but my part of the Tn river is fast moving an you need to try to stay with your jugs. Theres also not that many people on the water. But I could see them growing legs if I let them get out of sight for long enough.

I've never had jugs stolen but i had a nice homemade minnow trap stolen and i also have had a couple coyote foot hold traps stolen trying to trap for my neighbor. When your trap anchor is pulled up and the hole is a perfect circle you have been robbed, an animal cant pull a 2 foot trap stake straight up.

Some people that live on the lake pull jugs all the time if you find them and no boat around. It's against the rules to leave them on our lake. Have to tend your jugs so people don't run over them get that junk in boat props

Please don't give up on the googan crappie baits.. I really want to see more on these. I grew up fishing with my dad for crappie. Never had anyone show me how to bass fish with plastics so hopefully one day I can. But I use plastics alot but these googan baits look great for 2 reasons.. one..the crappie are everywhere up here.. two... these are the perfect size for saugeye baits up here too... are they sturdy.. don't want them if the tails are easily bitten off 😂

Get a bright colored pool noodle and put about a 3-4in piece on your jug and you can always wrap hi vise tape around it to help spot it. Just for in the future
