LA is a seductress! At first it overwhelms you with the beautiful weather and feels so good! Then as you stay longer the Dark side emerges and you realize that it’s not Paradise but Paradise Lost. You’ll find this out the longer you stay. And eventually you’ll want to leave and never come back. But initially there are so many famous landmarks to visit that your head spins! Including the Hollywood Bowl, Walk of Fame, Sunset Blvd which ends at Santa Monica at the Pacific Ocean, Long Beach, Malibu and Hollywood and Vine and the Graumans Chinese Theater as well as Bel Air and Beverly Hills. It literally takes a few weeks to see every thing and I forgot to mention Disney Land and Tours of Famous Actors and Actresses Homes! Have Fun!

Connor I just stumbled by accident on one of ur videos. I have met many people in my life. You are a rare being, when I watched your old video mit Streichholzschächtelchen I thought to having you had arround as a child must ve been pure joy or even bliss. Your eyes are so friendly! Keep being kind and authentical to yourself. And whatever comes, take care of your precious heart. Love from Germany.

I watched your videos the last three day's and they are very cool! :D We went wo California in March 2020 and wanted to make a camper trip for about three weeks. We startet in LA and we were in Hollywood and Las Vegas (we saw an empty Las Vegas!!!) too. Our last day we drove to San Francisco. I thought almoust the same as you said in 4:43 about Hollywood... Not clean but a have to see place! But we had to leave due to Corona after 1 1/2 week :( But we want to continue our trip in two years. :D Grüße aus Norddeutschland! :)

One another tip for you to visit in munich ist the Tollwood. Its a big big hippie fleamarkt an really pretty to watch. The stuff in there ist very cultural and hard to find outside the internet. Take some money with you if youre visiting because you wont leave without buying some cool stuff and i have to dare you to try the ochsenburger (a burger with ochsen-meat inside, bullmeat i guess?) Tollwood is so pretty but you can only visit it at a special time of year. I love your videos including this one ♥️

11:35 normally everyone in germany tips as well, normally like 10% of the bill or sometimes more, unless the waiter/waitress did a really terrible job or you just went to get a quick snack or something
@soundso4782 жыл бұрын
No, that's not normal. It depends on which restaurant it is. It's more like if it is 23,90 you say "let's make it 25. And you don't feel awkward if you don't tip them because they get paid much more compared to the waiters in the US
@chico35172 жыл бұрын
@@soundso478 well, that’s also a tip, isn’t it? even it’s less than 10% of course, but i hardly see anyone paying without giving at least something or rounding up.

i know the californian stop - i do this on german stop signs as well :P (if you can tell there is no traffic) if you ask for "Hahnenwasser" you'll also get a free water in germany. People just don't do it for some reason..... Men i miss LA, it is cool there

10:33 you can actually ask for "leitungswasser" (tap water) at german restaurants and often they'd give it to you for free but most people wouldn't do it since it's not a regular thing and you would come across as stingy/cheap

Low key in German is more like "unauffällig, zurückhaltend" I guess. Like "humble, holding back". Making no fuzz about stuff. And one should tip 10-15% usually in Germany, except you are very unsatisfied with the service.
@ConnerSully2 жыл бұрын
So how common is it to tip in Germany? Do almost all the people do it? Or only some people? Because in America its almost expected every time.
@dachecker792 жыл бұрын
@@ConnerSully In Austria is very common to tip ! Almost everyone does it. If you dont tip, you show the service that you were not satisfied. I tip about 5 to 10 %, but it depends how much the meal was. For example "die Rechnung" 26,90 Euro....i give 30 and say: "stimmt so".
@marionhays27822 жыл бұрын
I don’t think everyone tips in Germany...at least not how Americans do everyone over here gives at least a tip between 10-20% lol 😜:)) When I visited my hometown in Germany awhile back I left a 5 euro tip my sister almost freaked out and telling me why are you leaving so much money for the waitress... I would’ve left 1 euro 💶. For me five bucks was nothing. And I’ve made her day she was very happy our lovely server deserved the higher tip in my opinion...I thought she was great🥰! The moral of this story is please don’t be stingy, thanks...wishing everyone on here a fantastic blessed day/night. Love&Blessings Marion🧡
@Gnuddelunke2 жыл бұрын
@@ConnerSully It is absolutely common where I live. I can only speak for me and my fellows, but all of us here in Northern Germany tip AT LEAST 10%. But as you know, there are huge cultural differences amongst the German "tribes". 🤔😁 Love from Schleswig- Holstein. Have fun, take care.
