Taking My Temperature in The Curtis Cab / Kubota BX23S Night Plowing Sleet And Ice.
In this video I install a thermometer inside my Curtis premium cab to check the actual air temperature after having the heat on high for about an hour. I run it again the next morning without opening the door over and over to move cameras.
Scraping sleet and ice off the driveway at night. Also, the composite deck board in place of the bucket cutting edge gives all it has to give.

I would have pitched the instructions too. The cab is a sweet upgrade and looks great. I think being out of the wind and not having the snow blowing back on you are gonna make it feel very comfortable (and there’s no better cab option out there, so there’s that too). Have a great week & take care.

It seems the nighttime reading would be the actual indoor outdoor delta Temp. As the cab gains a thermo rise because of the sun.

I though about the sun having an effect which is why my first attempt was after dark. Opening the door over and over while recording left me feeling like the initial 58 degree temp was a bit unfair. I have since mounted the thermometer permanently in the cab and will reference it from time to time in future videos. 👍🌡

Good Day, I have a Kubota Bx as well with a snow pusher instead of my bucket for this time of year. this cuts down your plowing time in half and its easier on your driveway whether its asphalt or concrete.. Hey Don.. do you know your tractor has a "float position" on your loader arms so you are not digging your bucket into your driveway.. this takes all the pressure off your loader arms and bucket and your bucket will transition easily along the ground without force.. still easily plowing snow.. hope this helps. I have been considering my options for snow removal and I think a pusher is a good option for me as well. Especially considering the cost of a blower setup. I too use the float function on my loader when pushing snow.
