Oh my goodness! Pelee Island! I remember going there for Brownie camp when I was about 7 years old (back I the 70s). I don't think there was a winery there back then 🤣. Canadian born, but my family moved to California when I was only 9 (2 hours from backpacking in Tahoe and 3 hours from Yosemite). I remember those hoards of Mayflies that would show up for several weeks in June!! As long as I live, I don't think I will ever forget that. They were so disgusting! Don't miss them or the winter snow!

I think they restarted winery in late 60s. Mayflies really important for ecosystem here. Black flies awful. Nice beaches

Just checked. There is a website for pelee island winery. We had the Pinot and it was very good. Looks they ship everywhere. Black flys are called stable flys there and it looks like they are there all summer. Nasty little bugs

I know Canada has been tight about the Vax stuff. So you just need your Passport and proof of Vax, or is it more complicated ?
