Yes! That is SO GREAT that you put the little kids in their car seats on the plane! Especially for Jude. It keeps them so much safer in case of turbulence and, as you said, it helps them feel cozy so they will sleep. We kept our daughter in her seat on planes until she was five!

Red eyes are the best flights to take to Europe. You land in the morning, try to stay up all day go to bed and then you are on European time!

Mike said there wasn't very many hours of darkness..if you leave NY at 11pm what time do you arrive Paris time/US time then?

flying to Paris generally takes about 6-7 hours, but Paris time is also 6 hours ahead of NY. So, let's say you leave NY at 11pm, you would arrive at about 6am NY time, which is noon Paris time.

When you go between countries in Europe with the sea between them, if you know what I mean. Instead of getting planes use ferrys instead, they are easier because you can access stuff easily, you can walk around, and it's fun to be on deck looking out the sea

As an ex-flight attendant, I commend the way you briefed your kids about what to expect along every part of the way. I must admit when I read the description I had flashbacks to a family with 11 kids I once had onboard who were an absolute nightmare!!! I am in shock and awe of how well you guys handled this and how well behaved they all seemed to be! Well done!!!!! P.s. You must be EXHAUSTED! Planning takes effort!!!
