THIS COMMENT i am forever screaming into the void now

I prefer paperbacks because theyre way cheaper than hardbacks and also i like that they are smaller and more flexible. Hardbacks look prettier tho and have a better cover a lot of the time which is annoying, but i find its easier to read with paperback, its lighter. Also my paperbacks are in good condition unless theyre read a lot so i dont have a problem with them falling apart, i take care of em.

@rapmonhyung6 жыл бұрын
Oo yes. Paperback video please. My preference leans toward paperbacks, mostly because of cheaper initial price and structural flexibility (I drop books on my face all the time and paperbacks are just safer). BUT I also really enjoy the structural stability of hardbacks. Most of the time hardbacks stay open on their own, which is great for when I’m reading while I’m properly seated rather than reading in bed, and hardbacks are definitely a better investment in the long-run because they just last so much longer. So many of my favorite paperbacks are falling apart :( Anyway, yes please to the paperback videooo

BTW I don’t know if a lot of people know about this website but it’s called Thrift Books its a website that uses good condition books ( You can choose between New, Really good, Good, bad condition books) They loser the condition the cheaper the book. And after you read it and don’t want to keep the book because you didn’t really enjoy it u can give them back to the website to have someone read it that will enjoy it. I hope u find this comment helpful and maybe you could review the website on your channel and just check out the website in general. Love u all💜

I actually enjoyed A Court of Starlight and Frost because it was just chill and easy to read. I probably would have waited to buy it at a cheaper price and not full price when it came out knowing what I know now of it -- But I think it's entire purpose was to set the scene between Cassian and Nesta for SJM to eventually continue the story with them. AND I love paperbacks but I'm slowly being transitioned into hardcovers and I'm scared, help.

Unpopular opinion? If you purchase books with your money then you can do with them what you want. Ex. Letting them sit on your shelves to look pretty or owning multiple copies of the same book. Also, wtf spoilers for acotar lol.
@travisandlisawalker61064 жыл бұрын
I am glad I am not the only one who felt a Court of Frost and Starlight was a cash grab. When I finished it I was like “OK, and what did we accomplish here?” It did not give any insight into world building, no history or storyline progression. It had no resolutions, at the end of the book every was as it was before, and nothing happened. It was a waste of my time. I am not completely against novellas, I thought the ones made for the Red Queen series were helpful to the plot and world building for example, but a Court of Frost and Starlight was just garbage, and I am fairly easy to please when it comes to fantasy books so that’s saying something.
@franchetteechavarri5 жыл бұрын
i was actually relieved i illegally downloaded acofas because i aint paying for that. esp the weird changing of the povs (that really bothers me???) and that the novella basically was made just so she can hint - and i use that term very loosely cuz she basically just threw nessian at us like we get it you're going to give us theyre book even tho the fandom mostly doesnt like nesta. i was just very dissappointed reading it. i thought it would like tie loose knots but nope. we got more weird fairy sex

Goin off in comments a bit. I am a book Collector and lover, because of this I have several copies (with different covers) of the same book. I also search out rare or old copies of books I love. I agree that if you treat every book like that then it's a little excessive. But don't sue me for having five copies of pride and prejudice.

I don't think I'd care about mental illness plot twists as much if they were ever done well. I have bad auditory hallucinations and a load of other crap which I think could have a lot of potential in a novel but authors usually just Google the symptoms and just throws them in without any read effort. It doesn't bother me that they exist it just bothers me that they're almost all terrible
