Taking Responsibility for our Happiness and Freedom | Nonduality

If there are things that (apparently) have the power to make me happy, there will also still be things that (apparently) can make me unhappy or suffer. This is obviously not the true lasting happiness that we wish for, or more accurately, that is actually our true nature, consciousness.
Eventually, we have to apply the non-dual understanding in our daily lives and take full responsibility for our happiness, freedom and suffering, instead of excusing ourselves and giving it away to other people, external circumstances, events of the past, etc.
