Taking The 1939 Ford Forgotten Hot Rod On It's First Test Drive!!!

We have slowly been completing items on the punch list for the 1939 Ford Forgotten Hot Rod and the list is almost done. The last big thing we need is shocks. The car rocks like a boat when you get in and out of the car, and taking turns will probably look the same. Matt works on installing tube shocks in the front and rear. In the front of the car Matt chooses to use a set of bolt on adapters that bolt to the location of the old lever shock, and uses the shock link mount on the axle for the bottom shock mount. In the rear there is some fabrication that needs to be done to create mounts. After the shocks are installed Matt and Mike wrap up a few more loose ends and finally take the 39 for it's first ever street drive!!! This car has come a long way from the junkyard and we cant wait to finally take it for a spin!!
