Hey, truck runs real good! With having a bigger turbo and injectors, how do you keep it from smoking so much? Did you mess with the VE pump at all?

the injectors aren't THAT much bigger, and the new turbo flows more and builds boost way faster than the H1C, so they're a good clean match. there is some haze you can't see in the video due to the bright sky. the pump is untouched by me but the "smoke screw" cover looks like it may have been tampered with by a previous owner. I will tune the pump when i install the second gen intercooler, BD fuel pin, and 3200 spring. keep tuned for updates!

I always thought it was goofy to leave the stacks straight like that, what about rain water and crud getting in there? They do look good though.

Thanks! I drilled several small weep holes for water to exit through. Never had an issue with water build up. sometimes soot will blow out and cover the cab though!

i wouldn't say huge, but noticable. It was worth the effort. these trucks aren't and will never be quarter-mile running powerhouses. they're old trucks and always will be. however, you can freshen them up a little bit to make them easier and more fun to drive!

MD Bass cummins are smooth engine when they are not idling, something is wrong with his engine or its got some addons, I know, I have a stock 1991. You cant honestly tell me you cant hear it.

It's the vibration coming off the bed... the camera's obviously strapped to the bed, and so the vibration goes from the exhaust to the bed to the camera making it sound bad. In cab sound sounds normal.
