❤ Takis Shelter inspired me to join an organisation, when I lived in New Mexico, called NMDog. We were able to make it a law in Santa Fe County that it is now illegal to chain (or tether) dogs on one's property. I no longer live in NM but I still follow & support the organisation. Recently I saw on their FB page that they've just made it illegal in another county to chain dogs. I feel like although it seems that things take forever to change, little by little a snowball effect is taking place around the world! It breaks my heart when I hear Takis say that sometimes he feels like the whole world is crazy.... But he has NO IDEA the impact he has had on thousands of people, if not more, & the ripple effect that impact has on the millions of Animals who have been saved! Because of him. I'm not Catholic & have never put much stock in saints. But, I swear, I REALLY do believe he IS a Saint! Saint Takis! And, by the way, Takis had a Dream to start a shelter to help the puppies he kept finding in the town dump. That was 14 years ago. Look at what hard work, belief in your mission, & never giving up can build!!!! Blessings to you & your future shelter!❤

Their water reservoir which should've held a million gallons, was empty. Budget cuts had eliminated many fire departments. Such beautiful Mamma’s and such adorable babies!! “Anna” has the most sweetest little face!!!! Her puppies are so darling and SO happy and enjoy playing with their doggie toys, playing with each other and wrestling! 🐶😀☺️ Octavia has such a docile and gentle little way about her!! And she LOVES you Takis as do ALL the puppies!! “Bless them all!” Both of these beautiful families are now SAFE! And that is because of YOU!!
