Those new AK paint markers would be great for filling in the JAGSDF black. I bought a few starter sets and they work quite well.

This is the first Apache kit that ever gave you the full turboshaft engines connected to the exhaust baffles.

It's uncanny how close JGSDF Tricolor is to NATO Tricolor. You could easily tweak the Tamiya trio or the AK line. I think HATAKA out of Poland has a dedicated set for Japanese Army helos now.

The Longbow system boggles my mind. There's an independent shaft that runs through the main rotor's transmission and all kinds of servo motors and gyroscopes to make it rotate and stabilize it.
