Whattup pimp? I just washed mine today. I do my chain maintenance at the same time, too. Keeps things easy. I've used a pressure washer since day 1 and haven't had a problem. I just stay a good distance away when I get to the bearings, gearbox and motor so they're not getting blasted too hard. That's a great tip about lifting by the wheel - I figured that out a while back and I thought I was special 🙂

Heyo! future tip. Dont use wd40 on a chain,use a direct purpose lube (for any moto bike really.) wd40 is just a repelent and wont lube your chain. however lube will both get rid of water aswell as lube it for enough time too keep u out on the trail!

Yes weekly updates will get things moving again with new subs. I think most people would like to see more of the same including how to videos and different riding terrain as you are progressing as a emoto rider. I bought a talaria xXx a couple months ago and did some major upgrades but i sold it a week ago and bought a talaria mx4 so your videos have me completely ready to upgrade and maintain it when it arrives. Keep it up, much appreciated 😃

I got a question maybe you could help me. You seem to know a lot about the MX4 for sure. I just got my MX4 a few weeks ago. When I use the front brakes the cable bends out and runs on the wheel. Iv tried a few things but can’t seem to get it to not rub. Do you have any suggestions? Also when braking hard it makes a loudish clunking sound sometimes.
@freerfixedit
@freerfixedit 11 ай бұрын
Check my free mods video, there’s an example in there, but the front brake cable is routed wrong from the factory. Supposed to be inside the fork leg and FIRMLY zip tied to the slot in the fork guard. Hope that helps 🤙🏽

@@freerfixedit just a update, the zip tie is still there and tight and all, however the ring that is suppose to guide the brake line when the shocks compress is pretty tight. So I’m gonna try you’re zip tie method as you did in that video. I found out if I’m compressing and braking it holds up right there and causes the cable to be backed up and rubs into the tire.

hey, i got my talaria like a month ago and i would like to know if changing tires, chains or cutting off the light the day, change a lot for the range ? i do a lot of road with it and sometimes the range is kind an issue.. Also idk what mods you can do for the range except those i already mention (i heard changing the the teeth also change it but idk if it's a good idea) any tips would be appreciate ^^
@freerfixedit
@freerfixedit 9 ай бұрын
So surprisingly enough, I went to a 52 tooth sprocket in the rear, and noticed a slight increase in range... my only idea is that the larger sprocket makes taking off from a stop easier on the motor... its not a huge increase, but I noticed it more than tires, chain, light, or any of that stuff... still get about 46-47 top speed
@cascadeconnerie
@cascadeconnerie 9 ай бұрын
@@freerfixedit Ok i see, but with a bigger i will get a shorter top speed when going higher than the restrict ? (idk if u spoke in mph or kmh, since the restrict hit at 45-50kmh but unrestrict i can go up to 80kmh). But i will see changing all of that tire, chains and maybe the sprocket if i have enough budget

i’m 20 & never ridden dirt bikes. i want an ebike/emoto & i might buy one soon, would you suggest the xxx our sting r for a beginner ? my only fear is if i get the xxx i might regret not getting the R with more power.
@freerfixedit
@freerfixedit Жыл бұрын
I see a lot of people regret the xxx and wish they got a sting R. Haven’t seen one person with a sting R wish they got an xxx. Just sayin. They’re super fun bikes, but my best beginner tip is be easy on the throttle. They aren’t toys and have an insane amount of torque. One slip of the wrist and things can get dicey quick. Just practice throttle control and be smooth. Maybe don’t cut the wire at first and get used to sport mode, then when you feel comfortable, cut it and unlock the full power

@@freerfixeditive been having a truly amazing time with the Sting R, cut the wire yesterday & been very fun but im still taking it easy bc im a rookie lol. its been about a week since i got it & i started noticing a weird noise that sounds like its coming from my front brakes maybe? my best way of explaining the sound would be like coming & going as my tires spun it would kinda squeal. i drove right home after noticing & im kinda hesitant to ride again bc i dont wanna make it worse. any suggestions? btw love ur vids, i rerouted my front brake line like urs it solved my first issue lol. this noise is my second💔
@freerfixedit
@freerfixedit Жыл бұрын
@@edmundhadid7883 is it just squeaking? The stock pads are pretty bad and notorious for making noise. You can try re centering your brake caliper to see if that helps. I have a video on it, if it’s just the pads rubbing/squeaking I wouldn’t worry about it. Just hard to say without hearing it myself. Hope you get it sorted out and glad to hear you’ve been enjoying the bike! 🤙🏽
