bruh they used thw bike off road pretty aggressively of course it’s gonna be a low range when used for that particular purpose this is what’s on e-ride’s website: RANGE: 50+ MILES (@25MPH); 90+MILES (@15MPH) SUBJECT TO TERRAIN VARIATIONS

That has no bearing on the fact that a $1500 dirtbike from 1987 gets 75+mpg and holds 2.5 gallons and therefore gets a range that is several times longer despite costing a fraction of the E bike. E bikes arent a great deal yet. Maybe in 5-10 years

Yea theyre worth the money. Ive got 4 of these, all with over 1000 miles in a years time. We get 50 miles plus on full charge. Mostly trails. Only thing i eould avoid is bery muddy trails. We took these out during the rain on very muddy trails and all the serpentine belts failed. We had to walk our bikes several miles back to my truck in the rain and mud. The silver lining is Eride fixed and replaced the belts and sprockets free of charge

I’ve noticed if you ride the battery down slowly, it will charge fine, if you full throttle almost the whole time your out and ride hard it has those battery problems, I think the battery internals get too hot if you ride hard and run it down. And don’t give it any breaks it will start charging once it cools off.

There is nothing that compares to the Ferro or the arma. If you’re doing motocross on these bikes it’s the only suspension I would consider. You can set the Ferro as stiff or as soft as you want and it feels good and predictable however you set it up. It’s very expensive though 😅

Maybe its just an issue with the 2.0 but another KZbinr pointed that out and sure enough my 2.0 is touching the frame like his. I wonder if eride is going to do anything about this? I think I might drop the swing arm off and clearace the frame by taking down the edge a tiny bit. I don't want it wearing a groove into the swing arm. Kinda unfortunate its designed like that.

@@Convolutedtubules On the torp controller, the serial battery generates 11 kW in Talari. Which one will be better I don't know :) I currently have Surron in the series. The Eride Pro SS II will arrive next week. Then I will be able to comment on it. The internet says the SS is the best option out of the box.

Until the range on these kiddie bikes hits a legit 40-50 miles of range I'm not interested in going back to electric -I've owned several and having to constantly check your battery voltage and turn around on the trail is a pita. I don't think battery tech is going to get to that point for a long time, and especially not for anything affordable. $2000 for a replacement battery is not for me for 20-28 miles of range
