Another thrilling drama from the golden age of radio. Thank you for such a beautifully preserved, restored and produced piece of vintage radio. Like the other listeners, I was reminded of the modern Gothic horror feel of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane. I must look out for the other version you have uploaded starring Joan Crawford and , I almost can't believe it, Bette Davies. I never knew they did radio together. With enormous gratitude. David O'.

Claire Trevor was a great actress, ive always enjoyed her very much, this radio play has proved this. Indeed this play was one of the most horrific stories ive heard on the Suspence radio show,!

Great! There were two versions of this story (like several SUSPENSE episodes), and I believe that the other had Joan Crawford, but not Bette Davis. Her co-star was Elliot Reid. I won't say anymore, except check it out!

I didn't like this one as much as I usually do....I mean the acting was excellent lol and I've been listening to these since the early 80s when my mom bought me my first 3 cassettes of radio shows (I'll never forget them lol it was Abbott n Costello, The Shadow-The devil Takes a wife/death from the deep and Suspense Sorry Wrong Number w/agnes moorehead). It just kinda bothered me that they didn't say happened to the son!! Usually they don't leave u hanging like that.....RATS!!! LOL

Hysteric, mentally ill women turning murderers really were a thing back then, weren’t they? Served with endless commercials for alcohol. I can’t say I enjoy the portrayal of women much. Guess I am too much a woman of my time. Wouldn’t call that back the the golden age I think.
