If you've listened to a good number of Suspense episodes, by now you know that there's no shortage of weird stories! Here we have a classic, which is based on a true story. It features William Conrad and Jeanne Crain, as the two play a husband and wife . . . with the husband rapidly losing his grip on reality. His not too bright wife ignores the warnings of doctors and psychiatrists, thinking all hubby needs is a little TLC to bring him back to normal. Yes indeed . . . it's a troubling story, to be sure. →Note: Conrad gives us one helluva performance! ← Also in this episode, you'll hear the voice of Howard 'Floyd' McNear. The sound quality is now excellent.

Did I mention that this story troubling? Actually, I found it (at times) to be quite irritating. It's another one of creator Elliott Lewis' "true story" episodes, which (I think) are kind of hit and miss. William Conrad (aka Marshall Dillon) appeared in more than six dozen episodes of Suspense and Escape . . . All are in one playlist for you on this channel! Finally, this replaces my upload from a couple of years ago, for it's superior sound quality.
