Didn't think a sci-fi playlist would work so well for editing a horror/thriller story, but it's working. And a good thing too, because my publisher wants this one back by tomorrow night. Wish me luck!

Publishers put a deadline on writers? It's writers that should be putting a deadline on them. We don't need publishers, they're archaic legacy media. Good luck.

Alright, these pictures/animations are just the cutest! :D In case someone is wondering if they've seen them all: Robot reading with finger on the screen Robot contemplating Robot listening to his sholder friend Robot smiling at winking friend on screen On screen friend is sometimes wiggling In the background are two friends riding up on the machine The machine breaks sometimes and is fixed Little guy on the floor rips out the page when he finishes reading xD

Oh wow! Searched up "sci fi writing ambience" and was pleased to find something from Tale Foundry. How pleasant. I'm writing extensive documents (in a wikipedia-style format) about the sci-fi animated series I'm creating. It's all just in the conceptual stage right now as I'm still building up the skills needed to make it happen, but my encyclopedia of worldbuilding, character building, and plot progressions is ever-growing.

I must add to the masses and say I love this series. The music is wonderful and the animation is beautifully whimsical. I had tried a few music collection videos and they were fine and then your video for Music for Worldbuilding popped up and I’m so glad it did. I listen to these when reading and I’ve started some solo TTRPGs that are kind of like writing prompts with dice added to spice things up. This playlist will definitely be a favorite to listen to while writing! I can’t help but wonder if you’ll do other genres if you choose to continue this series. Horror, mystery, romance… the possibilities are intriguing. Thank you for your hard work on these videos, they are absolutely delightful.

I listen to music whenever I go to sleep and your music is aMAZING because it doesn't have those clicks like lofi does and songs are too distracting. Your music kind of tells a story and it helps me focus on something else while I'm trying to sleep. goodnight

@BeeWhistler Жыл бұрын
Well, this is a mood. (lol) I actively look for stuff like this but the music is never atmospheric and abstract enough. Also the first little theme is fair music for the mystery of the hotel drawer that keeps opening by itself in my hotel room. I gotta try and go to sleep wondering if it will be open in the morning. It’s random, silent, and we never see it in the process of opening. I figured there was a fault in the construction of the dresser but then you’d see it gradually roll out… wouldn’t you?

it's funny, one of the first videos I saw of you ended with a little gross, fleshy taleoid-looking monster that skittered away, and I was fully expecting that to be part of the "story" you were all creating for this channel, but listening to this made me realize that that's not really what you're after, sure there's a fun story about a robot who runs a library and his little mechanical companions, but the meat and potatoes, so to speak, are in the storeis you teach us about

Something about the stars, the moon, and the grand expanse of space and its endless void makes me want to step out of the safety of earth’s atmosphere. Much like the lull of the dark sea at night, speckled with the light of its inhabitants and their bioluminescence. I have no knowledge of what may be laying beyond until I force myself to breathe deeply and jump. A leap of faith, if you will. Letting myself fall helplessly into what humanity naturally fears, until I'm lifted by the gentle hands of knowing what is beyond the safety of my own cage that I once called home. The weightlessness of the great void that I stare into lifts the weight of my worries and my stress that have long settled into my bones. Earth is so small, yet so big. Great cities that would take days to traverse from end to another, the seemingly ending swaths of trees that cover whole states and provinces, the roads that stretch from one continent to another as nothing in the eyes of those who journey beyond. Becoming nothing but speckles as the earth turns as I float away. I can feel the heat of the sun kissing my skin through my clad of white as I face it and the cold of the void hug me from behind. I'm flying. But without the pull of earth, my home, my burden, my birthright, I cannot land from my flight. Yes, I'm scared. I'm lonely. But I'm free. And until I close my eyes as I draw my last breath, I'm free. I am no master of poems. Nor of speaking elegantly, but I will say this for those who look to space and see nothing but wonder. It's a leap of faith, and all you need is to have faith in yourself.

i'm playing a saved world i have on the game 'worldbox' and there is this kingdom called "checkpoint alpha" (i named it that), this kingdom has gone through a lot of violence by fighting the cybercores (they spawn robots who have shotguns), anyways checkpoint alpha won, and a couple of in-game years later i see that they have wooden swords in their storage, there's something.... poetic about that.... they have so many salvaged weapons, but yet they crafted wooden swords.... that's poetic.... also i've seen white wizard staffs (throws ice) pop up in the hands of the soldiers of checkpoint alpha later in the war even though most of the white wizards died near the beginning of this human vs robot conflict (they're all gone now😞), it intrigued me. (btw i'm playing worldbox on mobile, so i have to watch ads to get unobtainable "powers", fear not! i don't mind)
