And so does Mckenna. From auditions thru Hollywood week the producers didn't mess with the singer's look. Starting with Hawaii though you can tell they dolled them up. Mckenna looks so different with all the makeup on. Both looked good natural and all dolled up, IMO.

She only has one One octive. So for as limited as she is she is really making good choices. If she had some higher notes in her range she would be the winner for sure. But ultimately I think she will get pigeon holed and start to lose excitement and momentum

She is not a vocal acrobat. She is a story teller and her one octive has an absolute identifiable tone just like Johnny Cash as an example. She is someone that comes along every once in a while that has something special to share with the world. I agree, she won't win because it is mostly Pop Culture voters that aren't looking for depth or a performer that can evoke emotion. They are looking for vocal runs and a beat without even knowing what the lyrical content of a song means.
